Acupuncture
‘Acupuncture is an invitation to wellness’

Acupuncture originated in China over 2000 years ago, and has experienced increasing recognition in many Western countries over the last 50 years. Traditionally based systems of Acupuncture such as TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Five Element Acupuncture have their roots in the original classic Chinese texts.
How does it work?
Your treatment will start with me taking a full health history which will include questions about your sleep, eating habits and daily routines. Looking at your tongue and taking your pulse helps to form a diagnosis, so we can create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you and your health goals. I will use a combination of fine needles, moxibustion, gua sha or cupping to stimulate a point or energy pathway in the body, with the aim of encouraging the body’s energy to flow so it may return to health and balance.
What can Acupuncture help with?
